Comparing the old times with the present time, most of our brothers and sisters in general and elders in particular are quite right in complaining, the absence of the old "Mohyali Spirit" or ethos among most of us which used to be our hallmark, in not a too distant past. We will have to revive this spirit through sustained and consistent efforts in our own interest. There is no alternative to it.We Mohyals are capable of doing wonders and are proud of our heritage and past. But with the passage of time, the old spirit stands diluted and if further time is allowed to slip away, it would totally trade away. depriving us of our existing old links who are eye-witness of our glorious past. It is, therefore, better to come to grips with the problems facing our community sooner than later.
Reverting to the main topic there might have been few dowry related deaths but large number of post marital. problems do exist in our community. Let this topic be our main agenda for discussion through articles in "Mohyal Mitter". "Mohyal Milan" and "Spat Bandhu" in addition to our "Sabha monthly meetings and its progress, reported alongwith the minutes, for publication in "Mohyal Mitter" with the idea of creating more consciousness and consensus in our community with the ultimate objective of revival of "Mohyali Spirit" which would solve all our problems and weaknesses which have crept in during the last few decades.
As mentioned above, greater responsibility develops upon the Presidents, Secretaries and each member of our Sabhas, the prominent writers, spread throughout India and abroad, and above all on our Apex Body under the command of its dynamic, progressive and visionary President, Raizada B.D. Bali, to undertake this stupendous task of consolidating, the fading "Mohyali Spirit" among us : Will it not be our greater achievement, in addition to others, already made during the last 15 years or so'?
Hoping, that while taking note of my observations, We Would, also, keep in mind, the following couplet of Dr. lqbal:

Khuda ne aaj tak us qaum ki halat nahin badli
Na ho jis ko khayal aap apni halat ke badalne ka.
